So What is 963, Even?
My Approach to Creating a Fulfilling Career and Life
A Higher Frequency
There’s a moment we’ve all experienced—that feeling of being completely in tune with yourself, when clarity is heightened and an undeniable energy rushes through you.
It’s the kind of moment where all the confusion that was there before dissolves, replaced by an unshakable sense of confidence. A knowing. And all of a sudden, you can hear that voice inside.
In those moments, you don’t second-guess. You don’t analyze or overthink. You just know—whether it’s a decision about your career, relationships, health, or something as simple as the next step you need to take.
Does this sound at all familiar?
Some people may call that moment a religious one. Others may describe it as spiritual. Whatever it means to you, one thing is certain:
To have experienced it is to have tapped into a higher frequency—one where the path forward is strikingly clear.
And from that clarity comes the ability to make decisions that bring you in alignment with your true self.
If you read last month’s newsletter, you heard me introduce the concept of alignment—making choices that are in sync with who you are and what you value. But it’s more layered than that.
It’s about operating from a place of clarity rather than obligation. Intention rather than autopilot.
Today, I try to act from this place of alignment as I build my life and career.
But it’s not always easy. Sometimes it feels like so much stands in the way of living in alignment.
Without it? Well… misalignment. And we all know how that feels—off, forced, draining. Sometimes even harmful.
Or as I call it: living in low frequency.
Alignment: We’ve All Felt It
Lately, I’ve seen alignment becoming a real part of the conversation. A shift has occurred. And more and more people are waking up to it.
Some are realizing how fragile time is and want more control over how they spend it. Others are questioning whether the path they’ve been on was ever truly theirs to begin with.
And then there are those who have felt misalignment for so long that they know they can’t keep going through the motions.
For me, that thing was motherhood. It forced me to reevaluate everything—how I worked, what I prioritized, and whether my career was truly in alignment with the life I wanted. (A topic for another newsletter.)
But people aren’t just noticing alignment—they’re craving it. Because once you start making choices that align with who you are, everything that isn’t becomes impossible to ignore.
And that’s why I believe alignment isn’t just something to desire—it’s the foundation of true fulfillment, both personally and professionally.
What I’ve Learned from Artists & Founders
How did I come to this perspective? Trial, error, observation. And proximity to those who seem to be creating in alignment—or striving to hold onto it.
For those unfamiliar, I started my career as an attorney in the entertainment industry, working with artists, creatives, and cultural leaders. My role began with protecting their work, but over time, it evolved into empowering them to build and scale their businesses as a strategic advisor.
Through it all, one thing has stood out to me:
The best founders, artists, and creators aren’t just talented—they’re clear.
They know exactly what they’re meant to do.
And they make decisions that reinforce, rather than compromise, that knowing. Because there is power in conviction—in standing firmly in who you are and what you’re here to do.
I truly believe that we are all born with this sense of knowing. For some, it’s obvious from the start—an innate clarity about their purpose. For others, it takes time to uncover.
And for those who have truly mastered it, alignment isn’t just something they experience—it’s something they actively protect.
Because alignment isn’t something we stumble upon once and keep forever. It’s something we must continually return to—again and again.
That’s the real difference—not talent, not luck. It’s clarity. And, of course, a lot of hard work.
But What About the Rest of Us?
What if you don’t have an obvious talent or calling?
What if you’re multi-passionate? What if you’ve done everything “right” but still feel completely disconnected?
The truth is, self-discovery isn’t exactly nurtured by society. The traditional education system, family expectations, and financial realities don’t always leave space for it.
Most of us were never taught how to uncover clarity for ourselves.
Instead, we were conditioned to follow a pre-set formula for success. School. More school. A stable job. A career path that looks good on paper. And somewhere along the way, we learned to ignore the parts of ourselves that didn’t fit neatly into that structure.
Have I been watching too much Severance? Or is this just what happens when work is treated as something separate from who we are?
(And listen—if the path you’re on brings you joy and feels deeply aligned, amazing. For everyone else, keep reading.)
But here’s what I know to be true:
You, too, have undeniable gifts.
You, too, can live in alignment.
You just have to create the space to tap into it.
963: The Frequency of Clarity
This is where 963 comes in.
963 is known as the frequency of higher consciousness—a connection to your clearest, most unfiltered self. It represents the state we reach when we are operating with complete clarity.
But before we can access that state, we have to clear the noise and do the work to open the channel.
Clarity isn’t something that finds us—it’s something we have to recognize, choose, and return to.
That’s what I want to help with. Not in a woo-woo way, I promise.
While this newsletter is aimed at creating a fulfilling career (and ultimately life), most of what you’ll find here will be tools and resources for clarity. Some of these insights come from my own personal journey, while others will be backed by research from thought leaders like Andrew Huberman, Mel Robbins, Adam Grant, James Clear, and many others who share this commitment to a fulfilling career/life.
Some of these tools will be small but powerful—and not necessarily your traditional career tools—like understanding how proper sleep impacts clarity (turns out, all-nighters aren’t a badge of honor).
Others will be bigger—like guided prompts for self-reflection and decision-making.
I know this work matters because if you’ve ever felt what it’s like to be in alignment—to be tapped into a higher frequency of clarity—then you know how transformative it is.
And if you haven’t felt that yet, my hope is that this space can help you get there.
One Thing I’ve Learned: Clarity Comes First
One thing I’ve learned:
Clarity isn’t just something you find—it’s something you create.
We act like clarity is this rare, fleeting thing that appears when the timing is right. But more often than not, clarity isn’t missing—we’re just avoiding doing the work to get there.
Real clarity comes when you’re willing to trust what you already feel, already sense, already suspect to be true. It’s less about discovering and more about deciding to listen.
That’s why the real work isn’t just in searching for alignment—it’s in having the courage to claim it.
Your 963 Prompt
One way to reinforce clarity is to notice when it’s already there.
Take a moment today to reflect on a time when you just knew—a moment when clarity felt effortless.
What did that moment feel like? What made it so clear?
Write down what comes up. Then ask yourself:
How can I create more space for clarity like that to surface again?

Looking Ahead
I’m so glad you’re here. Now that we’ve laid the foundation for 963, we can really dive into the work in next month’s newsletter, which will be published the last Friday of each month.
But alignment isn’t a one-time realization—it’s an ongoing practice. The more space you create for clarity, the more naturally it finds you. Keep tuning in, and I’ll see you next month.

Love this! In rings so true to unlearn the societal conditioning of what work is “supposed” to look like then to come to the point of reevaluating it all.
